How you can engage me as your fractional CMO
Working with me
If you’re considering bringing me into your business, you will want to know three things:
- How I work
- What I take responsibility for
- What it costs
You are not hiring me for ideas.
You are hiring me to remove commercial fog, restore growth clarity, and strengthen how go-to-market motions are led inside your business.
There are three ways we can structure that.
Commercial Strategy Session
£3,500–£5,000
Before we meet, I spend up to 10 hours reviewing:
- Your positioning and messaging
- CRM pipeline structure and conversion rates
- Recent closed-won and closed-lost deals
- Marketing activity and spend
- Forecast logic
We then work through a half-day deep commercial session where I challenge assumptions, test your growth logic, and identify structural constraints.
Within five working days, you receive:
- A written commercial assessment
- Clear diagnosis of growth constraints
- A prioritised 6-month action plan
- My recommendation on whether you need advisory oversight or embedded leadership
- A 30-day follow-up call to review implementation progress
This is not a workshop. It is a commercial reset.
Strategic Growth Advisor
Each month, I:
- Conduct a pre-session review of pipeline metrics and performance
- Run a 90-minute commercial review session with you
- Assess forecast confidence and conversion health
- Challenge growth assumptions and investment decisions
- Provide direct, candid feedback to you and your marketing lead
Each quarter, we run a 3-hour strategic recalibration session to reassess growth priorities.
You also have direct email access for strategic decisions, with a 48-hour response commitment.
I am not observing.
I am holding you accountable to revenue clarity and commercial discipline.
Over time, this strengthens:
- Board-level confidence
- Pipeline quality
- Investment decisions
- Leadership alignment around growth
Fractional CMO
As your fractional CMO, I work inside your leadership team typically 1–2 days per week.
I take accountability for:
- Defining and refining your commercial narrative
- Aligning marketing plans directly to revenue targets
- Running monthly pipeline and forecast reviews
- Improving revenue visibility and conversion discipline
- Leading or reshaping your marketing function
- Eliminating activity that does not contribute to growth
- Strengthening sales enablement with senior buyers
I attend leadership meetings. I contribute to commercial planning. I shape hiring decisions. I challenge weak assumptions.
I help make the hard calls.
Within 90 days, you should see:
- Clear articulation of why you win
- Defined growth priorities tied to pipeline
- Improved forecast confidence
- Reduced wasted marketing activity
Over time, you should experience:
- Growth that feels deliberate, not accidental
- Fewer surprise shortfalls
- Marketing and sales operating as one aligned system
- Leadership conversations grounded in evidence.
Why I structure my services this way
If you are unsure which package is the best fit for you, that is normal.
Book a 45-minute commercial clarity call with me.
I will help you determine:
- What is truly constraining growth
- Whether you need a reset, oversight, or embedded leadership
- Whether I am the right person to take responsibility
If I do not believe I can create measurable commercial impact, I will say so.
Why not just hire a full-time CMO?
A strong full-time CMO can be a powerful asset. But for many growing businesses, the decision is not straightforward.
A full-time CMO at the level required to rebuild commercial clarity will typically cost:
- £150,000–£200,000 base salary
- Bonus and pension
- Equity or long-term incentives
- Recruitment fees
- A long-term commitment whether it works or not
More importantly, hiring is a bet on one person’s experience inside one company.
When you work with me:
- You gain senior commercial leadership without long-term employment risk
- You benefit from pattern recognition across multiple B2B complex sales environments
- You get someone who can make hard calls without internal politics
- You get accountability for revenue clarity from day one
- You move faster
If, over time, your business reaches the point where a full-time CMO makes sense, I will tell you.
My goal is not to become permanent. It is to restore clarity, strengthen growth, and build the commercial structure your business needs.
